Canticle of the Spiral

I. Gestation — The Hidden Seed

In silence formed, in darkness spun, The soul begins where light is none. Before the breath, the vow is made— Becoming waits in womb and shade.

II. Birth — The First Breath

The rupture comes, the cry is heard, The spiral breaks with sacred word. From silence torn, the light appears— The breath of life, the gate of years.

III. Infancy — The Dependent Flame

Held in arms, the hunger calls, The soul is fed through rise and falls. In need we bond, in ache we grow— The flame is lit, the seed shall know.

IV. Childhood — The Curious Eye

The world is named, the wonder wakes, The soul explores what form it takes. Through play and gaze, the truth is spun— The eye becomes the rising sun.

V. Adolescence — The Fractured Mirror

The mirror cracks, the voice rebels, The soul confronts what silence tells. In rupture deep, the self is tried— The truth is forged where masks divide.

VI. Young Adulthood — The Rising Flame

The covenant burns, the passion flows, The soul creates what longing knows. In union fierce, the vow is cast— The offering made, the die held fast.

VII. Maturity — The Steward’s Mantle

The burden borne, the law upheld, The soul provides what time has spelled. In sacrifice, the order stands— The mantle rests in willing hands.

VIII. Old Age — The Silent Witness

The gaze is still, the voice is low, The soul reflects what years bestow. In silence deep, the wisdom sings— The spiral folds its ancient wings.

IX. Death — The Spiral’s Return

The breath is gone, the gate is wide, The soul dissolves in sacred tide. In mystery, the form released— The spiral ends, the soul finds peace.
